About Me

Hi! Thanks for checking out my website. I started this website in August 2024 as a means for me to keep track of my travels and my weight loss journey. I mainly use this space to document my travels and any happenings in my life. For now, this is my personal blog but I hope I can provide you with the information you need when travelling to the places I’ve previously visited!

A little bit about myself. I am a 26 year old part time computer science student living in Vancouver, BC. One of my goals for the next year is to drop my weight and build muscle at the same time. My current weight is 234.6 lbs and I hope to reach 180 within the next 8 to 10 months.

Growing up, I loved to eat. Eating was my vice when I was under stress, and after COVID I put on a ton of weight over the years. I was always on and off diets but never really stuck to a plan. That all changed this year when I went on a road trip with my buddies through the Oregon Coast. We were climbing up the sand dune at Cape Kiwanda and I only made it around 60 percent of the way up before my body gave out.

I remember thinking at that moment, “Holy shit. This is the current me? Am I going to be like this for the rest of my life?” From that day on, I have been working on my fitness journey and I am determined to live a healthier style. Since then, my weight has been steadily dropping and I have felt my mental and physical health improve. As a bonus, my dad promised to teach me how to ride a motorcycle if I hit 180 lbs so that’s bonus motivation, not that I needed it.

So, thanks for reading and if your thinking about sticking around for updates, I appreciate the support.

It’s not about wanting or wishing for my goals to happen, but instead it’s about putting in the effort everyday.

Cheers!
